Emergency Grants for Artists

FOR MULTIPLE Disciplines

  • National Artist Relief Fund

    • Artist Relief is an initiative organized by the Academy of American Poets, Artadia, Creative Capital, Foundation for Contemporary Arts, MAP Fund, National YoungArts Foundation, and United States Artists—all small to mid-sized national arts grantmakers. As such, Artist Relief will distribute $5,000 grants to artists facing dire financial emergencies due to COVID-19; serve as an ongoing informational resource; and co-launch the COVID-19 Impact Survey for Artists and Creative Workers, designed by Americans for the Arts, to better identify and address the needs of artists moving forward.

  • Arts and Culture Leaders of Color Emergency Fund

    • Help those pursuing careers as artists or arts administrators whose income has been directly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This fund is for those who self-identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color).

  • Emergency Survival Fund for LGBTQ2S Artists, Performers, & Tip-Based Workers

    • This is a fund to swiftly help LGBTQ2S people who cannot pay for food, medicine, rent, and necessities because most of their income doesn’t come from an employer.

  • Arts Fellowship Emergency Aid

    • The Artists’ Fellowship provides emergency aid to professional fine artists and their families in times of sickness, natural disaster, bereavement or unexpected extreme hardship. At this time, we are temporarily limiting relief and assistance applications to those qualified applicants who are dealing with immediate medical emergencies and their aftermaths.

  • International Arts Movement - Hilary Teachout Grants

    • This grant offers artists relief during the coronavirus pandemic, limited to one-time $500 payments.

  • The Actors Fund

    • The Actors Fund has partnered with other entertainment industry organizations to provide emergency financial assistance to those in immediate financial need. Funds are available to union and non-union workers in entertainment and the performing arts. Remember, you may be eligible for more than one fund.
